In the midst of the global pandemic Gonzaga clubs, organizations, and departments are committed to bringing Earth Week events to YOU.

Who: Gonzaga Environmental Organization, Fossil Free Gonzaga, Rethink Waste, Sustainable Eats, Gonzaga Sustainable Energy , GSBA Sustainability, Gonzaga Thrift Shop, ZagDining, and the GU Residence Hall Association, Office of Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Mission & Ministry, Law School Environmental Caucus

What: Join students, faculty, staff, and members of the community as we celebrate Earth Week this spring! Events throughout the week are focused on several sustainability-related themes. Links to event pages can be found below. We can’t wait to see you there!

Monday, April 19th:

Meatless Monday @ lunchtime in the COG

Local Food & Carbon Footprint Event @ lunchtime in the COG.

Thrift Shop Pop-Up @ 11am-1pm outside of Hemmingson. All items are $1!

Waste Audit @ 11am-1pm outside of Hemmingson.

Waste Education Event @ 11–1pm outside of the COG.

Climate Center: Free Swag 11:30–1:30pm including tee shirts, a mug, a bag, and stickers in Hem!

Let’s Explore The World of Coffee @ 4pm into the world of global coffee production. Register for the event here.

Cook with Sustainable Eats @ 5pm via Zoom: 613 283 7403. They’ll be making salad rolls and providing rice paper and rice noodles on Monday.

Thursday, April 22nd: EARTH DAY!

Bee Campus with Live Bee Hives @ 10:30am-12pm in the Hemmingson Rotunda.

Distribution of Bee Seed Mix @ 11am — 1pm outside the COG.

Earth Day Liturgy @ 12:10pm at the peace pole by backside of College Hall and you can RSVP here for the event.

Solar Panel Tabling and Raffle @ 11am — 2pm outside of Hemmingson.

Rock the Planet @ 3–6pm at Jundt Amphitheater. An event with local campus music & spoken word for people to gather and celebrate the earth. RSVP for the event on Zagtivities.

Saturday, April 24th:
